Terms of Service

Effective October 19, 2026. These terms are an agreement between you and Gryt, Inc. doing business as Ryder Radio ("Ryder Radio," "we," "us"). By using Ryder Radio you agree to them.

1. The service

Ryder Radio lets riders request music from a driver's QR code and lets the driver choose what plays. It is free. We may change, pause or stop any part of it.

2. Drive safely

Your safety and your riders' safety come first. Do not read, search or tap Ryder Radio while the vehicle is moving. Handle requests only when you are safely stopped, and follow every law about phone use while driving. You are responsible for how and when you use your phone.

3. Your platform and your music service

Ryder Radio is independent. It is not made by, endorsed by, or affiliated with Uber, Lyft, Spotify, Apple or any rideshare company. You are responsible for following the rules of the platforms you drive for.

Ryder Radio does not provide music. Songs play through your own music service account, under that service's terms, which you are responsible for following.

4. Accounts

Drivers sign in with an email address they control. Keep access to that email secure. You must be an adult to create a driver account. You can delete your account any time from Account.

5. Requests

Riders may request music. Drivers decide what plays and may skip any request. Do not use requests to harass, threaten or send unlawful content.

6. Acceptable use

Do not misuse Ryder Radio. That includes getting around rate limits, scraping, sending automated traffic, probing or attacking the service, using someone else's account, or breaking the law. We may limit, suspend or end access for misuse.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

8. Disclaimers

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, RYDER RADIO IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT PROMISE THAT IT WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR FREE OR AVAILABLE ON EVERY RIDE.

9. Limit of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, GRYT, INC. AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS AND AGENTS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, EARNINGS, DATA OR GOODWILL. THEIR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO RYDER RADIO WILL NOT EXCEED US $100.

THIS SECTION DOES NOT LIMIT LIABILITY FOR GROSS NEGLIGENCE, INTENTIONAL HARM OR FRAUD, OR ANY RIGHT THAT THE LAW DOES NOT LET US LIMIT OR WAIVE.

10. Indemnity

If you use Ryder Radio in breach of these terms or the law, including while driving unsafely, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of claims that result against us. This never covers a claim caused by our own negligence or misconduct.

11. Law and disputes

Texas law governs these terms. Any claim goes to the state or federal courts in Tarrant County, Texas, unless it qualifies for small claims court or a law that cannot be waived gives you a different court. Nothing here removes a protection that the law where you live does not let you give up.

Before bringing a claim, email support@ryderradio.com so we can try to resolve it.

12. Changes

We post any new version of these terms here with a new effective date. If you keep using Ryder Radio after that date, the new version applies.
